Personal Support

Personal Support provides those individuals needing assistance with daily personal care as they deal with day to day living. We assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation, household management and with various ongoing conditions. Our team works very closely with those in need personalizing care with each person, and helping them work towards feeling more independent.

 

Supported Employment Coaching

Finding a job and maintaining stability is one of the cornerstones of the American dream. This process can be difficult for any individual. Now, imagine being an individual who has a developmental disability and striving to enter the workforce. With a myriad of challenges ahead, this endeavor for employment could not only be difficult, but also hard to maintain.  Parker Support understands these challenges and that's why we've developed a comprehensive Supported Employment program, as required by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, that focuses on the person’s individual employment needs.

Our Supported Employment Services provide training and assistance to help support recipients in job development and sustaining paid employment at or above minimum wage, unless the recipient is operating his/her own small business. This service can be performed on a full or part-time basis, and at a level of benefits paid by the employer for the same or similar work performed by trained non-disabled recipients. Parker Supports will assist recipients with the acquisition, retention or improvement of skills related to accessing and maintaining such employment, or developing and operating a small business. Our Supported Employment services will assist in securing employment that is tailored to each recipient’s knowledge, skills, abilities, supports needed, goals and planned outcomes. Our recipients will learn job tasks needed to be employed, as well as being included in all aspects of job development, interviewing and job seeking activities.

Supported Living Coaching

Every individual deserves the opportunity to experience living and thriving on their own in society. It’s the goal of most parents, and adults, that their children would leave the nest and explore the world for what it must offer, including living on their own. Parker Supports can offer Supported Living services that will enable individuals with disabilities to be successful in this very thing.

Our Supported Living Services aid with locating appropriate housing; the acquisition, retention, or improvement of skills related to activities of daily living; household chores; meal preparation; shopping; personal finances; and the social and adaptive skills necessary to enable recipients to reside on their own. Parker Supports will work with each individual to access their need from a person-centered perspective and implement services that will allow them to enjoy living on their own.

 

Behavior Assistant

Parker Supports offers Behavior Assistant services that provide one on one teaching, and application techniques, for critical development at home and in the community. Our Behavior Assistants work to implement the comprehensive behavior plans, goals and objectives underwritten by Behavior Analysts, for the individuals we serve.

 

Respite Care

As a family member of a person with disabilities, it can become very demanding both physically and mentally when continuous care is needed. That's why there's Respite Care.  Parker Supports can help provide care, and relief, so that as a family member, things that need to be accomplished can.
